We are excited to announce the upcoming AFMA-SAAHA Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Workshop and cordially invite you to save the dates of 23rd & 24th April 2024 for this important event.

 

AFMA and SAAHA are collaborating to address the critical need for coherence and clarity in antimicrobial programmes for control and surveillance across the various industry sectors.

 

This workshop is designed to:

  • Initiate discussions around AMR within South Africa among supplier and producer organisations.
  • Identify global AMR developments and drivers.
  • Sensitise stakeholders to current thinking around antimicrobial use, control, resistance, and surveillance.
  • Provide a platform for stakeholders to share progress to date in implementing their sector-specific programmes.
  • Share the latest research and developments regarding AMR.

 

The program is structured to offer a multi-faceted view of AMR, creating a platform for sharing knowledge, promoting interaction, and fostering collaborations among all stakeholders.

Together, we will explore the intricacies of AMR, enhancing our collective understanding.
